Japanese Language Resources

Apps

Clozemaste an app that allows you to practice vocab in usage.
Bunpo this app allows you to learn Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. What I like the most is that when you learn Hiragana or Katakana it gives you words that will help you remember
Japanese Charaters this app is basically a kanji quiz.

Books

Japanese from Zero very popular book among Japanese language learners. My favorite part about this book is that it allows you to familiarize yourself with Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji in a very gradual way.

YouTube

Japanese Ammo with Misa - Misa is one of my favorite Japanese teachers on YouTube. She explains grammar in a very clear and comprehensible way. Plus she explains things in a very detailed way, that is it almost impossible to not understand.
JapanesePod101 - many lessons about Japanese grammar, vocab, kanji, and Japanese culture. Risa, the teacher, explains lessons from a native point of view.
Easy Languages - casual conversation/interviews with strangers in Japanese with English subtitles.
Kimdao - Kim is not a Japanese teacher, but I want to include her channel due to huge content related to Japan and Japanese culture.
